Her martinis may be mini, but her appetite for Dish is anything but. There’s a real sense of occasion in the Dish studio this week as actor, foodie, and long-time listener Emilia Clarke joins Nick and Angela for a very special episode. Best known and loved for her unforgettable role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, Emilia’s career has taken her from blockbuster franchises to romantic favourites, and now to her latest project, PONIES. The new 70s spy thriller sees Emilia star alongside Haley Lu Richardson as two widows drawn into the world of Cold War espionage. It’s available now on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland. The timing couldn’t be more perfect, as Emilia joins us to celebrate Dish’s fourth birthday. The celebrations begin with a chilled glass of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne and a tomato tonnato salad, packed with all the salty, punchy flavours Emilia loves. Angela then serves a springtime super greens vignole alongside a rack of lamb, paired with a bottle of Villa Cafaggio Chianti Classico. And because no Emilia Clarke meal could be complete without one, there’s also an elderflower & mint martini inspired by her favourite tiny cocktail. It’s no surprise that Emilia proves to be the ideal guest for a Dish birthday celebration.
