Robert Leonard talks with Robert Rivani (@RobertRivani1) about how he built his self-funded, single-owner commercial real estate company, Black Lion. He is the president of Black Lion and got his start in entrepreneurship with a footwear company as his first business – which he sold for $150,000 when he was only a teenager. He first entered the real estate world during the economic downturn of 2008 and 2009, where he found a unique opportunity to buy, flip, and re-sell inexpensive buildings and areas in need of development. In 2014, Rivani created Black Lion.
