Professor Panos has over 30 years of experience in psychology, leadership and education. He is a leading voice in human-centered and culturally grounded education in Ethiopia. Professor Panos grew up in Addis Ababa. His work includes academia, clinical psychology and educational consulting. He focuses on developing African leaders. In this conversation we talk about his journey. He went to Saint Joseph School in Addis Ababa. Then he taught psychology and leadership studies in the United States. We discuss the vision, behind founding Lebawi International Academy. We also explore "The Lebawi Way". This is a model that combines academic excellence with emotional intelligence. It includes creativity, leadership development and African-centered identity formation. We discuss reform and indigenous knowledge systems. We talk about leadership.
