U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael G. Warnock was raised in public housing in Savannah, Georgia and is the first in his family to graduate from college. Senator Warnock attended Atlanta’s historic Morehouse College and went on to receive his doctorate at the renowned Union Theological Seminary. Since 2005, he has served as Senior Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, the spiritual home of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elected Georgia’s first Black Senator in 2021, Senator Warnock sits on the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, Agriculture, and Finance Committees. He has championed legislation to cap the cost of insulin for seniors, invest in our students and our workforce, and address the maternal mortality crisis.
