Jay Bhattachary is a professor of medicine, of Economics, and of Health Research Policy at Stanford University, and the director of Stanford's Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bhattacharya was an opponent of lockdowns and mask mandates.
